This lifebuoy self-igniting light YBB1 complies with the L.S.A code capable of burning continuously with a luminous intensity of not less than 2cd in all directions of the upper hemisphere for a period of at least 2h (at white colour). It is CE/MED approved of SOLAS (L.S.A Code) by DNV. As one of the leading position-indicating lights manufacturers, Shanghai Yibei developed and produced lifebuoy light since 2018. Lifebuoy rings and lifebuoy lights SOLAS approved, and other MOB systems such as grab line and throw lines are always up to date with the latest regulations.
This lifebuoy ligth is easily installed with lifebuoys with the clip attached. The lifebuoy light activates automatically when in water and will be turned off provided leaving water. The Yibei lifebuoy light is desgined to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 2cd output specification and 14 hour duration requried by IMO SOLAS regulation. The light is also tested according to RMRS standard W-50 under -62 °C.
Material:
The dome was made by high light transmittance polycarbonate, allow more lumen go through out the dome. The body shell was made of ABS, strong and anti impact.

Structure:
The water contacts were specially made to be activated automatically very fast when it is immersed in water. The water sensor and gravity switch was built in to avoid wronly activated with heavy rain. The light will not be switched on when the lamp is put toward down even it is contacted with water to avoid wronly activated.
Working Principle:
The light will switch on automatically when the water contacts are immersed in water. The light will remain on whilst the contacts are immersed in the water. The light will be switched off once leave the water. All activation and witch off function were controlled by a specially designed chip.
Production Process:
The light was made by ultrasonic welding, thus it is 100% water tight. The light is ultra strong and anti impact. The product information including production date was printed by laser marking, permanently shown on the light body.

Application:
The YBB1 is a flasing lifejacket light which is equipped with the lifebuoy to indicate the position of the survivor requested by IMO/SOLAS regulation. The YBB1 is for use on all types of lifbuoys. Once sombody onboard is falled into water, the light should be pulled out from the bracket and thrown to the drowning person. The lamp of the lifebuoy light YBB1 will turned to upwarded and activated automatically, lighting the wearer's location. This lifebuoy light has its own buoyancy and can automatically float on the water surface with LED lamp head up.
